Our Client:
Currently the market leader in the UK for audio innovations and accessories, our client has been established for 4 years and are set to turnover £30m in their next financial year - due to their innovative and aggressive growth strategy. To ensure this is achieved, they recognised the need to underpin their exceptional retailer relationships with a dedicated Category Marketing function. Their client base includes accounts such as Dixons, HMV, John Lewis, Tesco, Asda, and Argos to name but a few.
The Role:
In this exciting and newly created role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and delivery of key category and market data in order to provide a targeted and strategic account management process. Working very closely with the Sales Director, you will become an integral part of the Account Management process providing indispensible insight and market trend analysis in order to stay one step ahead of the competition and maintain the companies market leading position.
The Candidate:
Degree educated with a proven track record of achievement within a retail focussed Category, Trade or Customer Marketing role - the successful candidate should be innovative, analytical and have the ability to influence and direct face to face customer encounters. Experience of working with or within major UK retailers is essential, and a true passion for audio, emerging technologies and innovation would offer a distinct advantage.
