Our client is the worldwide leader in its category and is a household name within the UK market. With a market share of 32% in the UK and well supported brands they are in an exciting phase of their development.
This position reflects the increase in strategic focus on trade marketing. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and own a trade marketing strategy to drive profitable growth in 2009 and beyond.
We are looking for an individual to develop and manage trade marketing/channel activity across major multiples and distributors. You will be responsible for developing commercially focused trade marketing plans that establish, maintain and develop strong customer relationships by delivering tailor-made activity that is beneficial to their customers.
You will deliver an effective strategy across the multiple sector and create exciting in store promotional activity. Driving the brands forward and using the budgets effectively.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a blue chip FMCG company within the trade marketing, brand or category management disciplines and have an excellent understanding of the UK grocery marketplace.
