This leading US-based company within the personal care and beauty arena is seeking a solid Product/Brand Manager to strengthen and develop its rapidly growing personal skin and hair care portfolio. This newly created role will be instrumental in developing the brand strategies and marketing plans for the UK. Reporting into the MD and working closely with the Global Marketing Group, this is a great opportunity for you to lead the UK marketing strategy and develop a team in the longer term.
As Brand Manager your main responsibilities will be:
· Developing appropriate portfolio and brand strategies for the UK
· Annual brand marketing planning and budgeting
· Execution and evaluation of the UK marketing programs, including online marketing and PR
· Support the Management Team and external distribution partners in country-specific marketing planning and implementation
· Liaise with the sales team on planning and implementation of channel/account specific promotional activities
· Continuous monitoring and assessment of revenue by brand, channel, region in comparison with market dynamics and delivering defined monthly as well as ad-hoc reports
The ideal person should have experience of UK consumer marketing and ideally European consumer marketing. Any language skills and skin or hair care experience would be an advantage. You should also have strong leadership skills and be motivated, results-driven, analytical and creative with a flair for trends and fashion.
The salary for the Brand/Product Manager role is up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience. The role is based in East London accessible via the Central Line.
