Database Manager Drinks Central London - £35,000 - £43,000

My client is a leading premium drinks company with well-established global brands. Trading in 180 countries and with a turnover of £7.5billion, they employ 20,000 staff worldwide and have offices in 80 countries. They have a global vision and local marketing focus.

They are now looking for a Database Manager to lead the delivery of global, regional and local development initiatives for consumer data and support the day-to-day management of the Global data assets.

Reporting in to the Senior Global Marketing Manager (Consumer Data) you will support the relationship marketing, digital and consumer marketing strategy across all the brands.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

· Improving the effectiveness of the marketing database tools/services through delivery and day to day management of key development projects
· Ensuring high standards of data services are delivered to regional and local brand teams by being the key contact and day to day lead for one of the Regional Data Hubs (Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, North America)
· Promoting best use of consumer data to drive successful relationship marketing, digital and data driven marketing activities through the establishment of close working relationships with key local markets (Vietnam, Thailand, Poland, Russia)
· Demonstrating the value of consumer data (eg regular reporting, analytics projects) through regular engagement with local and regional brand teams
· Delivering best practice data initiatives and projects (eg segmentation, data upload and extract processes, analysis and reporting, database cleansing and data enhancement)
· Driving enhanced consumer understanding for local and regional brand teams through database analytics
· Ensuring consumer data assets comply fully with the company's social responsibility agenda, Digital Code of Practice, Global Core Data Set and the laws that govern the industry

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

· Substantial experience of operational marketing database experience, development, analysis and data management techniques
· A comprehensive understanding and experience of relationship marketing and digital channels, tools, technologies and applications
· Experience of managing suppliers/agencies
· The passion to engage with a wide range of stakeholders to promote the value and use of a corporate consumer database
· Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
· Top notch communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels with confidence
· Excellent database literacy (SAS and SQL experience)
· Degree-level education

The salary is £35,000 - £43,000 + benefits package.
