CLIENT

My client is a household name high street retailer.  Providing health and beauty solutions to the masses over a number of years the business is now in a successful growth period.  With pharmacy as their background my client now focuses on bringing everything from lipstick to sandwiches to the consumer.   Due to the merger with a successful UK business, also in a period of growth, my client seeks an experienced consumer PR manager to manage the transition.

JOB

Key elements of the role include:-

 - Consumer PR management

 - Working with category teams internally

 - Media Management

 - Crisis Management

 - Managing the PR Agency

 - Working with regional PR Managers

 - Supporting the Head of PR

CANDIDATE

In a position to take up a contract role quickly you will be experienced in dealing with consumer rather than corporate PR solutions.  This is a high profile role in the business and you will need to be able to hit the ground running. Experience in a retail or branded environment would be most relevant. The contract is likely to run for 3-6 months.
