Job Description

This leading UK and international FMCG manufacturer requires a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function across a portfolio of leading products.

Reporting to the Marketing Controller you will manage a team of three and drive brand strategy, lead marketing activity planning and implementation and champion NPD within the portfolio.

As Marketing Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing strategic direction for two key brands
- Delivery of market share, sales and profit contribution growth objectives for the portfolio
- To champion and support NPD (both innovation and renovation) initiatives utilising consumer insight from concept development to driving through the business to launch
- To manage external agencies relationships to ensure effective delivery of objectives in line with marketing budgets
- Management of a team of three; setting team and individual objectives, providing training and development plans to enable people to realise their potential, actively coaching team members
- Liaising with International Marketing and Management to provide support (comms and NPD) to enable delivery of international business plan
- Key member of the Marketing Senior Management team and strategic decision making process

With a strong, relevant background within FMCG, you will have senior marketing experience combining people and financial management. With good exposure to NPD and consumer insight usage, you will be passionate about FMCG.
