Because we're looking for a Channel Category Manager to work on a selection of classic brands.
Our client, a global FMCG blue-chip, is going through a period of unprecedented change as new products are developed and whole new categories entered in the UK market.

As the Channel Category Manager, your job will be to take brand plans from the Marketing function and turn these in to channel category plans that our customer business teams can take to market.

*You'll be working with the business teams to set the promotional strategy.
*You'll be taking the lead on pricing strategy.
*You'll be working with the sales teams to fine tune and optimise the execution plan in each customer by applying consumer and category insight.
*You'll be making things happen.

And you'll be achieving this off the back of your experience working for a high profile manufacturer in the FMCG market. Through the experience you've got from being exposed to the buying teams of major customers and your experience in category insight and development. Through the experience you've picked up working with category management. Through the work you've done in account management internally and externally. This is not a conventional role, but if you've got a solid background in category insight in the grocery space you'll know that the less conventional roles are often the most interesting and rewarding.

If this sounds like the next role for you, and you have the skills and attributes they're looking for, then we'd love to hear from you. Please click 'Apply Now' or send your CV to (email address removed) .
