An exciting opportunity has arisen with this global market leader for an experienced and results focused Category Development Manager to join their dynamic team. In this highly challenging role you will be responsible for profitably developing the brand within the specified accounts. With Advanced data analytical skills and excellent communication skills (including presentation delivery and report writing) You will be key in taking the category to the next level!
This will be achieved by influencing trade customers through taking a category approach to range, merchandising and, where feasible, pricing and promotions. You will ensure that commercial activities are optimized from a category management perspective through influencing internally using insight and recommendations based on category, shopper, competitor and retailer knowledge and expertise.
You will have:
-Experience of applying range and space principles
-Excellent working knowledge of continuous research data, both scan data and panel data – must have worked with either IRI/AC Nielsen or TNS panel on agency or supplier side
-Experience gained within the UK FMCG environment
-Commercial Awareness
