Job Description

The Nike Foundation was founded and began its exclusive focus on adolescent girls in the developing world in 2004. We saw enormous potential

and knew that realizing this potential would take significant investment and that investment required proof of results. We started out investing in

programs bold, creative, ambitious programs to understand what girls need. In that time, weve produced results and now aim to share with

others, mobilizing additional resources to girls.

 

Job Purpose:

 

To implement highly innovative insights gathering projects that place girls front and centre of insight and strategy. To ensure dissemination of key

insights findings.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Work with the Insights Senior Manager and Director in the development and implementation of all insights projects.

Work closely with country teams to design, plan and execute insights

projects relating to creative development and/or specific insights initiatives.

Ensure all objectives are agreed and achieved.

Design and build the plan for insights communication; ensure feedback mechanisms are developed to inspire and drive action.

Play a key role in the creative development process bringing deep insights that inspire outstanding creative work. Bring insights excellence to each creative initiative or project.

Manage, on a day-to-day basis, insights agencies and resources to ensure

timely, on budget delivery of outstanding insights projects. Highlight issues

and propose solutions to management team where necessary.

Champion the role of insight throughout the organization and be seen as the voice of the consumer at all times.

Develop a deep understanding of Nike Inc. insight gathering processes to help shape a groundbreaking approach to insight and strategy at the Nike Foundation.

Be an expert in teen culture and play a key role in driving a culture of teen spirit within the Foundation. Be the voice of teen girls.

Ensure key departmental information and findings are shared across teams as required.

Be a champion for change and delivery. Build a reputation for getting stuff done.
