Primary Responsibility:
The Marketing Communications Manager will work closely with and assist in managing strategic marketing communications for implementation across the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions of the business.
Principle Account abilities:
· Managing a small team
· Assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing communication plans to deliver EM EA business objectives.
· Gather necessary technical product information and interpret into simple marketing collateral.
· Continually review media communication.
· Assist with and project manages appropriate marketing campaigns ensuring activity is developed on schedule and to agreed budget to meet campaign targets.
· Control the production and implementation of marketing campaigns to ensure they are delivered to agreed timescales with quality standards met at all times.
· Develop a comprehensive briefing for marketing campaigns, working closely with agencies.
· Makes recommendations to suggest changes to marketing plans and product marketing in collaboration with the marketing and PR teams.
· Grow the knowledge base within the team through information flow, developing and implementing communication plan.
· Monitor and control the approval of marketing literature
Specific Duties will include:
· Responsibility for the management function of the Surrey based Marketing group.
· Co-ordination of marketing activities between our EM EA Marketing dept and local offices in the region.
· Distribution of marketing reports as appropriate pan Europe.
· In collaboration with Management ensure that all marketing activity is delivered on time and within budget; maintain forecasting data for approval and spend as appropriate
· Oversee the management and development of all e-Marketing activities (such as websites, intranet, customer net and web advertising campaigns etc)
· Development of all product and other (trade/ consumer) marketing literature
· Execution within the EM EA region of corporate identity/corporate design
· Overall responsibility for the management, co-ordination and support for the layout and design of all trade and consumer shows/exhibitions.
· Acts as a support for the co-ordination and presentation, together with other such documentation as and when required for all EM EA Sales meetings.
· Maintains overall responsibility for EM EA Point of Sale material production,
· Responsible for the implementation of EM EA product packaging in line with company operating guidelines.
· Day to day management of Agency activity
· Responsible for managing and liaising with local and EM EA wide agencies and printers.
· Interpreting technical product information and produce communications aimed at local and regional target audiences.
· Manage the development of and distribution of brochures, advertisements, technical specifications and product information in line with company branding and messaging.
· Creates awareness and positive image through consistent marketing communication messages.
· Involvement in the planning and implementation of the EM EA marketing plan.
· Maintain and update media portfolio.
