The Pricing & Promotions Manager for this major FMCG food manufacturer is responsible for creating pack, pricing & promotional strategies for a number of brands. These strategies will be strongly rooted in consumer, category & retailer insights. As well as developing the promotional guidelines, the Pricing & Promotions Manager will manage cost price increases & drive pack architecture decisions. Working particularly closely with the Marketing team to ensure the correct promotional, pricing & pack size strategies are followed for innovation & renovation initiatives, the Pricing & Promotions Manager will ensure commercial viability of all plans. |

Previous experience in the FMCG sector within a commercial role such as marketing, category management, sales or commercial finance is sought, along with excellent leadership skills & the ability to work cross functionally. A clear & thorough understanding of the retail environment & how pricing, pack architecture & promotional decisions are made is also of high importance. The successful candidate will be highly numerate & possess first class analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be insights driven, yet pragmatic, & will be a credible communicator, able to lead from the front. |
