We're recruiting on behalf of a major player in the mobile telecoms market, looking to appoint a Senior Communications Marketing Manager to look after a programme of campaigns delivered over retail, print, on and offline and ATL channels. The aim of this programme is to stimulate consumer interest in both a new and existing portfolio of handsets, driving both strategic and tactical promotions aimed at delivering to the commercial bottom line.
As this is focused to device promotion, you will be utilising manufacturer promotional budgets as well as your own, taking a partnership approach to driving commercial success not only for the company, but the device manufacturer as well. This will naturally mean you need solid negotiation skills and be capable of influencing these third party companies to give you the budgets you need to deliver the programme of campaigns and promotional material you need.
You will also need to align your work across various other areas of the business, including the launch management function, go to market planning (who own the 0-12 month brand and commercial plans for the business), brand and comms functions, in-life customer marketing teams, etc. to ensure the tactical and strategic campaigns you're delivering align to the rest of the business.
This will be a very fast paced role managing multiple work streams at once, so you will require solid communications and project management skills too.

Location: London
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000
Benefits: £5.5k car allowance, bonus up to 20%, & blue-chip benefits package
Experience Required:
- Experience from a telco or consumer technology(hardware or software) marketing background, dealing with tactical and strategy marketing communications aimed at driving commercial sales through direct/indirect channels
- Solid project management skills, capable of dealing with multiple high profile work streams at once
- Strong negotiation skills, capable of getting people from across the business and external partners on board with campaigns
- Experience of co-branded, partnership marketing would be beneficial but not essential
- Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering commercial results from high profile marketing communications programmes
- Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the UK
