This role focuses on influencing consumer behaviour at the point of buying. You will be defining and delivering winning category strategies for your portfolio across all channels to drive profitable growth. As category champion your responsibilities include identifying opportunities and implementing plans to optimise them across the channels assessing shopper behaviour, developing merchandising approaches, recommending core ranges, leading NPD, delivering customer propositions and managing all pricing and promotion.
Our Ideal Candidate
The key to success in this role is a very strong commercial acumen, ideally gained from a sales or marketing background gained in a similar blue chip environment. Previous NAM experience could be advantageous. You will demonstrate a solid understanding of channels, customers and consumers and will balance strategic skills, financial drive and brand understanding. You will be motivated, inspiring, flexible and committed to achieving results.
