Category Marketing Manager

£45,000 - £50,000 + Car + Bonus

Leading the category agenda for a major FMCG company with major grocery accounts is the challenge of this superb role.  Our client is hugely committed to working closely with its customers to optimise its channel & category strategy: this role will include hands-on involvement in ranging, promotional, strategic and shopper insight using your skills and commercial savvy to move the business forward.  Youll work closely with teams across the business and within the retailers developing partnerships and creating selling platforms that will drive revenue, market share and profit.



 



Our Ideal Candidate



 



Experience in customer marketing or category management/development is key to your success in this high profile role.  Youll almost certainly have worked for a leading FMCG business, managing category initiatives that have driven growth.  Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship building skills are of course key, but youll also be a strong analytical thinker with a good grasp of market, retail and consumer data and the ability to evaluate promotional effectiveness and use this in your planning and recommendations.
