Senior Category Manager

Based West London / Home Counties

Salary £45-55,000 Basic + Executive Car / Allowance + Exceptional bonus + Family Health + Pension

This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to this progressive businesses long-term strategy. As a global market leader with an impressive portfolio of iconic food brands, they have invested heavily in NPD and as such have plans for significant sector growth. The business is currently looking to appoint a talented Senior Category Manager to deliver profitable customer based solutions by influencing in-store impact.

Managing a small team, you will be responsible for category vision of some of the world's most iconic food brands. From pricing and promotional strategies, brand activation initiatives through to leading NPD and EPD programmes, this is a great opportunity to influence customer behaviour and unlock growth potential. Whilst coaching and developing a team of Category Managers, You'll work effectively with global cross functional teams in order to identify, develop and execute significant shopper and retailer initiatives.

You'll need to have a strong track record in world-class Category Management within a branded FMCG environment; You'll have a deep understanding of shopper behaviour and successful experience in dealing with multiple retailers at all levels. Ultimately, we're looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, brand awareness and a solid analytical approach.
