One of the worlds most successful FMCG businesses is currently seeking a Senior Market Insight Manager, where your expertise will be used to provide added value insights to the business.

You main responsibilities will include:

- Offering foresight rather than just insight, by proactively identifying consumer and market trends, and using these to deliver strategic as well as tactical opportunities for the business.
- Understanding brand building and/or brand development to a level which enables you to influence and add value to the business in areas such as advertising, brand positioning, and shopper behaviour. Ideally this understanding will come from hands on experience.
- Delivering fact based, objective views of the business. You will provide credible recommendations to marketing business partners, based on a one consumer approach.
- Operating in a professional manner, applying insight techniques with rigour and discipline.
- Using your innate ability and passion to understand and empathise with consumers and customers to deliver valuable insights to the business.
- Managing a team of 2 direct reports

To succeed in the role, you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and have proven relevant experience of working with continuous data (Kantar/TNS, IRI, Nielsen, dunnhumby) either agency based or FMCG client side. You will require strong interpersonal, planning and analytical skills are a must, as are negotiation and prioritisation capabilities, as you will need to influence key members of the marketing teams and senior management. People management experience is also required.
