Zest Medical Healthcare Recruitment are working with an award winning design and marketing company for the fashion eyewear sector. Both their UK and International businesses have seen considerable growth and continued successes due to their brand portfolio and entrepreneurial creativity in taking these products to market. With International subsidiaries and worldwide sales offices the UK head office are now looking to add flair and creativity with the appointment of a Key Marketing Executive to support the sales function and working with product/design of their trade marketing activities.

You will spend your time working across both creative and sales functions and you will be required to plan for marketing projects from Sales (bud gets, timescales, objectives) and translate into written/visual/digital/event communication working with creative team.

Your key tasks will be to provide effective communication across all brands and company brand portfolio; making sure that their press communication is organised and regular, and filing the results in an accessible place. This will also include scanning company and brand press (including some contact with brand owner/PR company) and filing/distributing and sending out press releases to trade press. You will have broad industry acumen as you will need to have an understanding of the competitor marketing and getting to know where opportunities lie with customers: including multiple retail chains. You will also have duties with promotional details, product marketing and relevant website work.

Ideally you will be a graduate in Marketing/Media (and/or with CIM qualification following degree) or have worked as a marketing assistant/manager for 2-5 years

with excellent all round communication skills. You will have an appreciation for brands and be naturally interested in fashion, design, technology. This business thrives on its people and as such you must be a team player thriving in an active dynamic environment.
