My client is a supplier of consumer and commercial products with global sales of over $6bn. They have a portfolio of top tier brands across a range of categories including Health and Beauty, DIY, Homewares, Childrens and Office Products.  The business is based in the Midlands and is a highly desirable organisation to work for.

This category based role offers a great opportunity for a candidate wanting to progress their career in category/trade marketing.  The role reports to the Sales Director and therefore sits very comfortably within the sales and marketing functions.  Within the office products arena, point of sales is a key element and understanding of consumers and consumer trends will form a large part of the role.

Sector background is secondary to passion for the role of a category manager and the ability to learn.  This role offers quick growth potential for a candidate who shows ability.  You could be in a Category Assistant role in any Consumer product arena looking for your next step up or a seasoned manager looking for new opportunity. Either way the rewards for success are high.
