Our client is looking to recruit a PR Executive / Manager to co-ordinate all aspects of PR for the company's corporate brand and their producer brands including traditional trade and consumer press but also with a growing focus on social media. They are looking for someone to bring energy and direction to their PR!
Role and responsibilities:
Responsible for delivery of PR - both offline and online - for key producer brands and the corporate brand.
Inputting to the 12 month consumer PR plan to support own brands
Setting trade PR objectives and creating a 12 month programme of Trade focused campaigns to meet these objectives
Creating a plan for award entries, managing the award entries process and ensuring maximum PR is secured for award-winners
Creating a plan for and generating campaigns to raise the profile of the corporate brand with key stakeholders in a global context
Managing the day to day queries from press / journalists
Inputting to the company's social media strategy,
Producing articles and a good variety of content for press and social media channels
Managing the day to day press office
Measuring the impact of all PR and social media activity, and analyse, review, and report on ROI / effectiveness of campaigns with proposals to maximise results
Skills and experience:
Educated to degree level
Solid PR understanding and experience working agency or client side within a traditional FMCG PR role
A budding online PR and social media expert with an excellent understanding of the evolving digital landscape
Experience of having planned and implemented / managed PR campaigns and press office work
Experience of having managed social media for an FMCG business, including online PR, editorial, promotions, social media events etc.
Excellent copy writing / content creation skills
Ability to prioritise and deal with juggling several tasks at once
Brand and consumer focused
