PR Manager

£60,000 plus car and other benefits

Based: West of London

Take responsibility for delivering effective PR programmes and enhancing the reputation of this well-known and fast-paced UK grocery retail operator to both a trade and consumer audience. In this broad, unpredictable and very hands-on role your remit will include external comms to the media and industry as a whole, driving best practice internally, managing and evaluating budget spend, and managing the existing PR team members.

Our Ideal Candidate

Personality fit will be very important in this role. It's a genuinely hands-on, non-precious, non-hierarchical culture which suits a candidate who will be prepared to get stuck-in and respond quickly to a changing environment. You will of course have a significant PR background, to at least PR Manager level, and evidence of delivering media comms activity, both traditional and digital. You'll be an outstanding communicator with an engaging personality, strong copywriting skills and extensive agency management. Ideally you will have retail experience too - and if that is from the food retail / wholesale world even better!
