Job Description

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a newly formed, high profile, high performing digital team with sole responsibility of the company-wide digital agenda for this global blue chip.
Key activities & responsibilities:
*To develop, lead and manage online marketing communications, the acquisition activity plan and digital media buying across the business unit
*Develop and execute the digital marketing 'paid' activities (Search Engine Marketing, Pay-per-click, email, affiliate partnerships) to support the digital sales and service objectives
*Drive online brand awareness and ensure maximum efficiency of digital marketing budgets, reach of voice, and traffic to the digital websites (core website, micro-sites, mobile) in order to drive online sales and self-service conversions, ongoing customer communication and upsell. .
*Define and manage online Affiliate Partnership approach, spend and relationship management to secure additional online sales.
*Performance maximisation and return on investment.
*Review the performance of all sites and campaign reporting, and make weekly recommendations to ensure that revenue and costs per acquisition are managed to deliver target ROI. .
*Drive online marketing activity best practice across the organisation.
*Implement and manage Search Engine strategy across all major engine partners (Google, Bing, Yahoo) to drive cost-effective traffic and conversion rates.
*Manage a programme of webinars with consumers and key industry stakeholders to support the overall communications plan.
*Sole responsibility for the email marketing technical development and deployment programme to deliver incremental online acquisitions and cross-sales
*Work with Marketing Communications to develop approach for online advertising/display advertising activity.
*Improve online and email campaign results through a comprehensive digital Multivariate Testing Programme.
*Business Partnering.
*Manage paid search agency relationship and budget.
*Manage a team of digital specialists across search and email marketing managers
Essential Skills
* Significant experience in Digital Marketing across core activities (SEM, PPC, Affiliates, email, partner networks, comparison site forums, etc).
* Proven experience managing a digital marketing media planning and buying agency.
* Track record delivering strong ROI on digital online activity spend.
* Strong understanding of the digital landscape- major players, trends, economics.
* Good experience and understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements in Digital.
* Experience in Google Analytics and Web Trends.
* Good understanding of different types of digital content and best methods to define search activity to promote them.
* Familiarity with brand marketing websites.
* Excellent copywriting skills.
* Experience with email marketing development and deployment.
* Knowledge of the Search Engine industry and preferably existing links to key players.
