Job Description

Leading consumer services organisation looking to recruit a Senior Insight Analyst to support the business' marketing and strategic objectives through the development, interpretation and modelling of customer behavioural, transactional and product information.
The success of the business marketing strategy both in financial and cultural change will be determined by maximising competitive advantage of customer knowledge.

Key activities & responsibilities
*To manage the commercial market research and insight budget
*To support future investment proposals by providing customer analytics.
*To identify and specify the appropriate analytical tools and models to provide the required support for future decisions and operations including business requirements for the IT strategy on infrastructure.
*Input to the formulation and implementation of commercial strategies to ensure profitability is optimised.
*To provide analytical support to test and learn initiatives, including communicating analysis of trial outcomes to all levels of the organization
*Contribute to strategy development through the provision of insightful analysis and commentary.
*Create and promote an environment which strives for continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice.
*Generate insights relating to customers' behaviours and usage of products to influence the thinking of marketing, sales and servicing managers using analytics-driven insight, including customer segmentation and co-ordinated market research into core customer needs.
*Development and implementation of ad hoc customer modelling to support the requirements of the proposition strategy and business segment plans.

Requirements:
*Excellent sense of business awareness and ability to interpret and make strong and relevant business recommendations from the results of complex analysis.
*Thorough understanding of the application of customer information to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
*Significant experience of statistical modelling and/or customer analysis, ideally in a marketing or sales or similar commercial environment, ideally experience of SPSS
*Proven experience of developing models for segmentation and other business applications
*Good consultancy skills and communication of complex material
*Meticulous attention to detail.
*Graduate level individual with demonstrable numerate and analytical capabilities.
