My client is a leading IT organisation that is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their well established Marketing function. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior marketer to develop their career within a high profile organisation. Reporting in to the Marketing Manger the successful candidate will provide and improve ways that the company is viewed in the market and contribute creative and innovative ideas for campaigns. They will contribute positively to the achievement of the organisation's overall values and objectives. The main responsibilities of the role will include: - Organise and coordinate internal and external events, seminars, conferences and exhibitions - Proof reading, copywriting and press releases - Ensuring databases are up to date and available for campaign activity - Internal and external communications either through DM or e-mail. - Updating Internet and Intranet content updates - Presenting information to other senior members of the business The ideal candidate will be a marketing or business graduate with at least a 2 years worth of marketing industry experience. They will be a proactive individual, who will have the ability to work successfully with a wide range of people and use their own initiative when required.
