Job Description

Marketing Specialist, Europe, IT, London, £35,000

This successful software company is looking for Marketing Specialist to support the European Marketing Manager with development and successful execution of lead development and brand awareness [programs throughout their European territories with specific responsibility for events management.

Your responsibilities include:

*Plan and build a European event program by sector / region with a mix of exhibitions, seminars, roundtables, etc.
*End-to-end event management including supplier management, logistics, promotion and on-site delivery
*Closed-loop analysis and reporting of results using Salesforce.
*Help drive topics and speakers for webcasts, webcast production and marketing of events
*Support other marketing activities as needed

To be considered for the role of Marketing Specialist, Europe you must have proven track record of the following:
*strong B2B marketing ideally gained in an international IT organisation and with a focus on event management
*Successful delivery of both company organised events and attendance at trade shows including follow-up and ROI measurement
*Experience partnering with and directing suppliers and agencies, with excellent negotiation skills
*Knowledge of using marketing automation software - use of software products such as: Eloqua, Marketo, Market2Lead
*Use of Social media (Twitter, LinkedIn) to promote activities
*Degree level education with a marketing (CIM) qualification would be highly desirable

The following skills are absolutely essential:
*Excellent project, vendor, and budget management skills are critical to success.
*Superior attention to detail, organisational and planning skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Fluency in a second European language an advantage (German preferred)
*Creative thinker to help develop innovative events program
