Job Description

Our client is a leading player in the IT software market.

They are looking for an experienced IT Marketing Manager for a 10 month contract to start as soon as possible.

Role Purpose

- To own Stragey and execute the ngagement plan for target audiences, third parties and partners
- To increase satisfaction and favourability with these key audiences
- To increase reach within these audiences and to make connections with new people within these communities
- To work closely with internal teams to develop appropriate content
- Own Target Audience and User Group Programme
- Support major product launches, product themes and campaigns to extend audience reach
- Encourage community contribution and participation to programmes, network events, newsletters and roadshows
- Drive strategy target audience
- Own the annual conference - annual two day paid for event
- Own 3rd Party strategy to drive reach and perception initiatives - to include identification and sponsorship of 3rd party events, developing 3rd party online reach strategy and identification of key opportunities to extend reach via partner activities, joint events and online initiatives

Knowledge Skills and Experience

Essential

- Marketing and audience marketing experience
- Extensive experience managing complex cross-functional programmes
- Experience of delivering on campaigns and exhibiting sound marketing skills

Technical / Finctional Skills

- Programme/Project Management
- Audience marketing and marketing communications within a technology company
- Appreciation of the technologies relating to these audiences
- Knowledge of market research/ analysing data for market trends

Personal Attributes / Interpersonal Skills

- Strong marketing/PR experience, excellent oral, written and exec communication and listening skills
- Drive for results - ability to grasp strategic business objectives and vision, deliver and execute against plans to address objectives
- Ability to understand customers/audience, identify opportunities and define value propositions
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and member of a team, across diverse internal and external organizations and establish trusted and productive relationships
- Motivated and motivating, passionate, charismatic, creative, flexible, unquestionable ethics and integrity, willingness to take calculated risks

Qualifications

- Bachelor?s degree required
- Marketing qualification preferred
