Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced PR programme manager to join our client’s PR team. The ideal candidate will have a well rounded knowledge of PR with the ability recognise opportunities and to identify what is a ‘story’. Our client is a major global player in the networking and communications sector offering leading edge, emerging technologies and solutions to enterprises, service providers and SMBs worldwide. The Role • Recognise business opportunities and identify what is a ‘story’ • Establish and build relationships with stakeholders, sales and marketing teams and customers to identify sales opportunities • Interact with customers to identify if there is an opportunity for a press release or media prospect • Work with European colleagues to drive the PR programme • Development of case studies, press releases and presentation slides, along with commissioning and managing video case studies • To work for Wilson Miller Resourcing, one the UK’s leading providers of outsourced marketing communications professionals, and based within our client company near Heathrow • Salary £35,000 - £38,000 per annum pro rata • 22 days paid holiday per annum pro rata The Person • Organised and very thorough approach • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to write succinct script. • Good organisational abilities • Ability to negotiate effectively • Ability to work across the business, liaising with peers and senior managers • Experience within the PR sector How to apply • Click here to apply • Please send your CV plus details of your current salary package and notice period to Amy Wilson (email address removed) quoting reference 382MAW • First interviews will take place in Chelmsford and London • Subsequent meetings will be with our client near Heathrow and via conference call • Only short-listed candidates will be contacted • Employment with Wilson Miller Resourcing is dependant upon your eligibility to work in the UK • Candidates must live within one hour commute of Heathrow.
