We are seeking a dynamic and committed Events Manager to project manage, execute, and measure selected European Events as part of the Event Marketing team.
The Role
• Define and refine strategies for event planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain project plans, build and manage events timelines, and establish and maintain budgets.
• Responsibility for overall conference and project management and definition of attendance, communications, contents, production, PR and sponsorship programs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Oversee existing third party agencies
• Develop and manage strong internal and external relationships.
• Attend high level, cross functional meetings as Events Marketing representative, providing high level communications andpresentations as a project team lead
• Measure the success of the event based on the defined objectives.
• To work for Wilson Miller Resourcing, one the UK’s leading providers of outsourced marketing communications professionals, and based within our client company near Heathrow
• Salary circa £50, 000 per annum pro rata
• 22 days paid holiday per annum pro rata
The Person
• Experienced in high level event/project management, and vendor management
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Self motivation, creativity, analytical approach to things, detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal, presentation and writing skills
• Moderate travel required (Europe & USA)
