Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, innovative, ambitious and highly engaging marketing communications specialist.  This is a new role and you will be required to create, deliver and execute certain elements of the marketing communications strategy and campaign plans across Europe, to drive all aspects of the purchase cycle from awareness through to purchase, and ensure integration of key segment messages for all outbound marketing activities.

Our client is a major global player in technology solutions within the networking and communications sector offering leading edge, emerging technologies and solutions to enterprises and SMBs worldwide. 

 

The role

·         Build and drive awareness with SMBs of the brand, solutions and products by developing the European marketing communications strategy. 

·         Work with the Channel Enablement team to develop and execute strategies to build long-term communications with customers and prospects;

·         Work with the European marketing teams to leverage the full marketing mix (AR/PR, Advertising, direct mail, event strategy, etc) and influence the global organisation in order to deliver content relevant for Europe, and also promote elements back for global use;

·         Manage the various segment communications tools including website product pages for each country and integrated outbound end user and channel marketing deliverables;

·         Work with in-country marketing teams for country campaign execution  build country relationships and work collaboratively to share program  developments, creative, messages and innovative deliverables;

·         Execute various centrally created marketing communications deliverables on behalf of the in-country marketing teams

·         Be responsible for the forecasting, tracking, reporting and communication of relevant metrics (including timeline, budget, data and campaign results) in order to understand successes and challenges;

·         Manage the day-to-day relationship of relevant creative and media agencies and suppliers ensuring financial and legal compliance;

·         Travel to other European or global offices may be required;

·         To work for Wilson Miller Resourcing, one the UKs leading providers of outsourced marketing communications professionals, and based within our client company near Heathrow ;

·         Salary £35,000 to £38,000 per annum pro rata;

·         22 days paid holiday per annum pro rata;

·         Initial 6 month contract.

 

The person

·         Must have B2B marketing experience preferably gained within IT/Telecoms/technology industries;

·         Proven and demonstrable experience in all marketing communications disciplines;

·         Must be confident, resilient, resourceful and diplomatically assertive when appropriate.

·         Be a UK resident, eligible to work in the UK and live within reasonable commuting distance of Heathrow.
