Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Development Manager in an organisation where you can make a real difference. This is a full time position working for a further education provider / college located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire where you may be required to work out of hours on occasion. In return you will receive a salary of £28,000 pa plus PRP and benefits.

Working as a Business Development Manager you will be required to develop effective relationships and partnerships with a variety of people and business sector leaders. You will be working with key employers and business partners and will be tasked with developing new income streams from the delivery of customised, responsive and bespoke training offers.

Due to the nature of the position you will ideally be a creative individual and someone who can be objective when putting together campaigns and exploring opportunities. You will have had some relevant professional and proven experience in delivering in a business development environment. You should be target driven, have good interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise your workload to meet challenging targets and objectives.

This role is an all encompassing Business Development position and you will be involved with and responsible for the following:

Establishing and maintaining working relationships
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
Planning and preparing presentations
Communicating new enterprise schemes to prospective clients and business partners
Overseeing the development of marketing literature
Providing management with market feedback
