Experienced Leisure or hospitality sector marketing manager required for one of the UK's leading independent hotel groups. You'll plan, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Marketing Department and implement the marketing plan in order to increase brand awareness and return on investment. The focus of the role is to maximise the effectiveness of the marketing function, creating both online and offline campaigns.
Main responsibilities:
*Integrate the brand across the UK estate, whilst maintaining the individuality of each of the hotels
*Lead all customer communications - including website, email, pay per click and search engine optimisation - in conjunction with third parties
*Develop and manage advertising plan using various media from concept to delivery
*Develop marketing strategy in support of the company's core objectives
*Strive for better market share, sales and targets
*Research and development, including market research and analysing findings
*Manage and co-ordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
*Lead and motivate a small team
*Co-ordinate individual marketing campaigns at hotel level as required
*Attend and present at meetings and workshops, internal and external
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Significant consumer leisure/hospitality/travel marketing management experience
*Proven track record of driving marketing strategy, including online
*Experience of managing budgets and staff
*Proven track record of delivering measurable results
*Commercial awareness
*Imaginative / customer orientated
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to prioritise, delegate and multi-task
*Excellent organisation and planning ability
*Gravitas and confidence to liaise at Board level
