Job Description

Our client is one of the UKs leading betting and gaming companies. With an offline, online and now mobile presence they are a home for Betting.  They are restless in their pursuit of growth and in an increasingly competitive environment they are looking to build their marketing strength and expertise. This role is considered key to the UK Marketing team.
 
Specific responsibilities:
The Media Manager is responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring the UK media plans and ensuring that they help deliver business targets by product and channel.

You will ensure that the media buying strategies are continually optimised in every way from considerations of placement through to leveraging differing commercial models. You will be responsible for ensuring and demonstrating that their investment is achieving the maximum ROI by continuous monitoring, measuring and reporting of KPIs.

You will manage, motivate and inspire media partners and UK media owners, ensuring that the client is at the forefront of their thinking for short-term buying to longer-term commercial partnerships. Our client wants to have first refusal for opportunities and be working with media owners on developing new approaches to getting the message across.

You will be passionate about media planning, ensuring that complex creative rotations are managed seamlessly with all suppliers.

You will be a senior member of the UK marketing team and as such a key advocate for their overall marketing strategy. You will be expected to work closely and collegiately with all key parts of the business, especially the online division, trading and operations.

Essential skills/attributes:

    * A love of media and a passion for what it can do
    * Excellent media planning and buying experience from TV to digital, radio to press
    * A strong and demonstrable understanding of the wider role of marketing in a commercial business
    * An analytical approach to problems and the ability to create and strengthen relationships and influence at all levels
    * A good mix of thinking and doing
    * A can-do approach
    * A passion for sports
    * You will be currently working at a similar level within a complex organisation

Desirable skills/attributes:

    * Experience gained from Gaming/Gambling Industry
