The Marketing Manager is responsible for producing and implementing the marketing strategy to maximise the financial performance of the centre.
Utilising the full marketing mix the Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of cost effective and quantifiable marketing campaigns that contribute to the scheme's success by maximising brand affinity amongst target customer profiles in order to drive footfall and enhance retailer trading performance
Main Duties & Responsibilities
To liaise with the Head of Consumer marketing on strategy and policy
Brand Management
Management of all aspects of the brand including:
Retain and develop brand to position centre effectively against its competitors;
Develop internal and external consumer communications
Advise on all activities that rely on or impact on the brand
Create Marketing Strategies
To support Business Plan Objectives
Identifying opportunities within catchment to:
Grow average spend;
Ensure footfall/dwell time measures outperforms existing benchmarks;
Business Plan
Contribute to the business plan
Deliver Marketing Intelligence to Inform and Measure Marketing Investment
Manage qualitative and quantitative consumer research programme
Provide and report on research analysis and campaign measurement.
Manage Occupier Research with direction from the Business Standards Team
Manage All Aspects of the Marketing Mix
Management of marketing agencies and external marketing suppliers. Communications planning and implementation to include: Media buying Advertising PR New media Competitor analysis and benchmarking. Manage and report on all aspects of the marketing budget.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategy /advertising campaigns / promotions / events
- Experience of working with agencies
- Education to degree level and / or hold equivalent recognised Marketing qualification
- Strong communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Budgetary control skills
- Experience of marketing shopping centres
- Analytical/Research skills
- Report production and presentation skills
- PR and Media training
- Experience of managing a website Copy Writing
