Our client is one of the UK's leading entertainment companies and due to continued growth of the marketing function they are looking to recruit a Customer Insight Analyst. You will be responsible for the following areas -
Data extracts:
- Brief the Data Warehouse team on all data extract requirements and develop Data Warehouse output for all e-commerce businesses
- Ensure data extracts are delivered to marketing service providers (e.g. email marketing and SMS marketing providers) on time and in the necessary format; build and manage relationships with all service agencies.
Analysis and reporting:
- Compile and distribute a weekly KPI reporting pack for key business stakeholders (to include web analytics performance, active and non-active customers, turnover, margin etc)
- Work closely with the e-commerce marketing teams to schedule all campaign analysis requirements ahead of campaign implementation
- Oversee analysis and report on results for each campaign within agreed timeframes
- Inform the Marketing Services Manager and e-commerce marketing teams of any other trends and campaign recommendations from the data.
Data compliance:
- Ensure all data extracts are accurate and compliant at the point of delivery
- Own and manage all customer suppression processes (gone aways, unsubscribes, self exclusion defence etc) and be the guardian of the e-commerce master suppression list
- Become the internal expert on data compliance, keeping fully up to date on current legislation and making recommendations for improved data integrity and data capture
- Build strong relationships with the Group Data team to ensure suppressions and insight are shared across the group
- Inform the web optimisation team and e-commerce marketing teams of any changes required to the websites or marketing material in order to remain compliant.
Candidate Requirement -
- Strong data management experience
- Fully competent Excel user, able to produce detailed and complex reporting
- Solid analytical skills with an ability to think strategically
- A genuine passion for data compliance and data integrity
- Ability to build relationships and influence across business functions
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of successfully managing and coaching a small team of analysts.
