Our client operates the EMEA division of WWRD, the worldwide leading provider of luxury home and lifestyle products, which manufactures, distributes and sells well-known brands.

An opportunity has arisen within the company for a Project and Event Manager to join them to lead and manage all activities associated with the expediting of local, national and international marketing events and the practical aspects of such events. 

Reporting to the Head of Trade Marketing , and working within a set timescale and budget, you will be responsible for leading and managing the trade fair and events calendar, along with the development, communication and maintenance of the trade marketing calendar that covers all trade marketing activities and works with both the internal marketing and brand campaigns/personalities.

You will create and develop the required marketing/visual merchandising props in line with the trade marketing calendar themes, ensuring a cohesive brand message, as well as planning, ordering and co-ordinating NPI and core product samples for all trade fairs, events, showroom set ups and for the production of visual guidelines.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in dealing with Luxury/Premium Brands and in setting up trade shows (e.g. Birmingham NEC), coupled with a strong track record in interior design and visual merchandising.  Along with a strong commercial awareness, they will have previous experience in briefing agencies and experience of budgetary control.  A full UK driving license is required.
