A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading FMCG organisation as a senior brand manager working with some of the company’s top brands. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the innovation and advertising development of these leading brands. You will also be responsible for:
•Identify and Act on business development and make strategic recommendations for future growth
• Focus on the below the line advertising such as direct mail etc
• Design the communication and brand strategy with regards to suppliers and customer bases
• Achieve Product development; implementation and roll out across allocated UK customers
• Analyze UK market and develop strategic plans for addressing growth opportunities in key product and consumer segment
• Develop and implement the funnel for product line extension
• Forcasting of future profit and loss expectations
To be successful in this position you must be educated to degree standard or similar and have a strong fmcg background in brand or category marketing. Experience of implementing new product development campaigns and being able to manage large budgets is essential. The ability to time manage your own schedule and that of your subordinates is another skill that is highly desirable, as this will be a very demanding role.
This excellent position is initially going to be recruited for on a six to nine month contract and will favour candidates who are immediately available.
