Due to our growth and development, we are now looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our busy Marketing Communications team of twenty, based at our Hampstead headquarters in London.

The Job:
To provide good administrative and marketing assistance to the Regional Marketing Manager for North America (US and Canada). The objective is directly related to MBA and Grad School education fairs in this market. Your primarily areas of responsibility will include:
1) Implementation of marketing deals and campaigns. You will maintain the marketing database for North America, help with the production implementation of ads, written articles, etc. You will also be a communicative link between the Marketing Manager and the client (i.e. marketing people in media houses and journalists, etc.)
2) Primary and Secondary research of new marketing channels - researching of new marketing activities. For example locating and evaluating websites and portals and developing e-marketing activities, and especially below-the-line channels to generate candidates for our MBA and postgraduate fairs in these regions.

A flexible outlook is essential, with a willingness to learn since, amongst other things. You will assist in the marketing of 28 graduate and MBA events in North America. (Spring and Fall Tours) and provide back-up support in other marketing activities for the same. All this will lead to high quality fairs where students and professionals in North America meet the worlds top business schools and universities. Since the fairs will be targeting North American young professional and student demographics, prior knowledge and experience of the North American education market will greatly assist ones candidacy.
Working in a small, high-energy and successful team, you will be involved in all aspects of the marketing mix. This makes this position interesting if you wish make your first-move to advance a career in marketing and develop new skills and take on responsibilities.

Key Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of the American education market
Highly organized and efficient
Strong written and verbal communication skills are paramount with a good understanding of marketing being essential
Fluency in English is essential
Bright, hard working and a self-motivated team player
Willingness to learn
Ability to work with databases
Good typing skills
Experience of Microsoft Office: particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Well presented, pleasant and of a friendly disposition
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative
