Web Content Writer / Journalist

£14,000 - £17,000 DOE

Our client is one of UKs fastest growing digital marketing agencies. Serving a range of clients with campaigns in over 27 countries across different sectors including the automotive, finance, energy and recruitment industries, they offer PPC, SEO, social media, online PR, website conversion enhancement, affiliate marketing and web analytics services. An opportunity has now arisen for a Web Content Writer / Journalist to join their team.

This role would suit a talented web content writer, looking to further their career within a rapidly growing and progressive digital marketing agency.

As a Web Content Writer / Journalist you will be responsible for managing our clients content development function and interacting with forums and social media networks.

You will be tasked with writing and optimising high volumes of copy. These will include press releases, articles, blogs and various types of web content for a range of clients.

Your other duties will include:

- Working with the client services department and generating ideas for content strategies
- Managing content development strategies and ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Co-ordinating work with external copy providers where required

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Previous experience as a journalist or content writer with a proven track record of writing large volumes of high quality copy in a wide range of sectors
- Strong project management experience
- Previous experience of writing web based copy, including editing and copy management

As a Web Content Writer / Journalist you must have excellent project management and organisational skills. The ability to display a creative approach to meeting clients content requirements is also key.
