THE OPPORTUNITY:
This dynamic and bespoke market research consultancy, providing ad-hoc quantitative research to market-leading UK and global companies across a range of industries, requires an insightful and engaging Research Manager to deliver excellent results and service within leading clients.
THE ROLE:
Working with major UK and international organisations, as Research Manager you will manage research projects end to end within timescales and budget.
Reporting to senior management and managing and supporting the development of (Senior) Research Executives/Analysts, your key responsibilities will include:
• Manage design and delivery of research projects to meet client objectives and timescales (by doing yourself or through delegation)
• Ensure projects are delivered within budgets: both time and external expenditure
• Run effective and efficient project teams
• Build good relationships with clients and act as day-to-day contact for any issues arising
• Manage and develop accounts by identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business
• Line manage and support development of S/RE(s) and/or RA(s)
• Design, recommend and implement internal initiatives as required to improve the effectiveness of this company and the working environment
THE PERSON:
With an excellent background in market research / insights, you will have a good understanding of all main MR techniques, with an interest in particular for ad hoc quant.
As well as the ability to consult clients with insight and confidence, you will be able to interpret data to a high degree to derive relevant conclusions and recommendations.
With good experience in project management you will also have experience/potential and passion for leading a team. You will be inquisitive, love challenges and have a passion for delivering top-level service.
