This is a key role where you will be responsible for monitoring social media for buzz/ sentiment/ topic information for an impressive portfolio of global brands. This will involve identifying and tracking key brand metrics for those brands, developing dashboards and producing reports on key trends and issues. The role of the Social Media Analyst is to conduct research into online conversations and cross reference this with existing data to develop insights reports and strategic recommendations. You will be required to identify key issues and themes and provide analysis of consumer activity across major social networking platforms, blogs, forums, micro-blogging sites and other emerging social spaces.
The ideal candidate will need to have a background in a field related to data analysis and will be able to demonstrate extensive personal or professional social media experience - for example, blogging and community development/management.
Key responsibilities include:
*Design and implementation of Insight programmes for our diverse clients
*Requirements gathering and assessment of Insight needs
*Analysis of multiple data sets including social, brand, media and website data
*Social media monitoring including key influencer, conversation and sentiment research
*Management of multiple client Insight initiatives to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget
*Compilation of client reports including ROI and KPI analysis
*New business support and provision of insight to supplement new business pitches
*Working with Account and Community Managers to identify existing client Insight opportunities
