Job Description

In this fantastic role as Circulation and Marketing Director you will be responsible for all circulation and marketing in the UK across all channels - newsstand (retail anddirect sales), subscriptions and bulks for all business products: online and offline.
Key accountabilities
- Building the audience advertisers want to reach online and in print
- Optimising marketing performance in the UK for allof the Business products
- Getting good results on readership research
- UK distribution
- Managing the UK circulation and marketing team

Decision rights
- Responsible for newsstand and subscription marketing techniques in the UK
- Responsible for staff development of the UK circulation and marketing team
- Influence brand and PR
- Responsible for UK circulation and marketing P&L (excluding brand and PR) for all Business products.
- Responsible for UK circulation profitability for all Business products

Performance measures
- UK ABC
- Readership results in relevant research including BBS, NRS, Premier TGI, EBRS (UK part), EMS (UK part), Europe 2xxx (UK part), Global Capita
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Graduate (preferred MBA and/or marketing qualifications)
- Successful track record in both circulation and marketing
- Track record of delivering bottom line results
- Strategy planning
- Building and managing budgets
- Experience in managing, developing and leading a team
- Experience and understanding of publishing models
- Understanding of P & L management and accountability
- Understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the UK market
- Strong experience of document, spreadsheet and presentation software
- Good written and spoken English
- Lead and motivate a team
- Performance management and leadership skills

Up to £75,000
