Our client is a medical publishing, communications and digital media company that provides pharmaceutical companies, medical schools, societies and other healthcare organizations with highly targeted educational content and services.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join their busy Latin-American team and to play a key role in helping to maximise business opportunities. You will assist with the research of information required to develop the business within the territory, assisting with mailing and marketing campaigns. Helping the Sales Manager to translate and prepare new proposals, you will also prepare PowerPoint presentations and other sales support materials. You will be responsible for calling our Latin-American database to update contact details, follow up on any queries and obtain new contacts. Keeping up to date with the sales force database and generating reports, you will also assist with planning and preparing for the sales manager trips.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role. The successful candidate must be able to write and speak both Portuguese and Spanish fluently. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have an advanced knowledge of Excel and Word and possess experience of updating databases. With an excellent telephone manner, you will be confident when liasing with external contacts and fellow colleagues. The position requires a self-starter able to prioritise their own workload and effectively handle a wide range of tasks.
