Job Description

Main Purpose of the Role

  • To develop and deliver digital sales training which aims to improve the sales performance of the company. Ensuring that all commercial sales staff receive appropriate training and development to meet their individual requirements whilst also ensuring that all training is delivered to meet the group business objectives and sales training ethos.
  • It is essential to deliver digital sales training which is considered to be best in class. 
  • To operate as an internal digital specialist by advising, monitoring and reviewing all aspects of digital commercial training and development.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • To provide a professional and cost effective commercial training and development services across the business.
  • Update, develop and deliver digital sales training courses to all staff and managers in sales related roles.
  • Work with the local teams to ensure that training plans are in place to deliver digital training programmes to both new and existing staff within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure that training approaches are up to date with business needs, the content is up to date and new products or directions being adopted by the business are incorporated.
  • Work with the current trainers and local businesses to support the induction of new starters.
  • Stay at the forefront of developments in the digital marketplace and make recommendations for training to ensure that the company stays ahead of the competition.
  • Understand the needs of local businesses and ensure that workload is prioritised to enable the business to achieve their objectives.
  • Ensure that all training delivered has a multimedia focus and is in line with the strategic objectives of the company. 

Experience

  • It is essential that you can demonstrate that you have worked in a commercial digital training and development role, with a proven track record of conducting training needs analysis, designing training interventions, delivering training programmes and evaluating development activities. It is also essential that you have a track record of successfully implementing digital sales training into a fast paced organisation.
  • You will have an understanding and application of how the digital world operates, facilitating groups of people, a range of on and off the job training methods, e-learning solutions, coaching, modern sales practices, models and principles and the ability to conduct training needs analysis using a variety of techniques.
  • Ideally you will have experience in working in a training and development role in a blue chip, multi-site environment.
