This is an exciting opportunity to join the marketing / planning and strategy department within this high performing blue chip retailer.
You will be supporting the planning & strategy team by providing analytical support in the preparation of the full year promotional plan and detailed plans for monthly promotional activity.
Your main responsiblities will include:
• Produce and own the monthly promotional review reports for promotional activity – collating information from a variety of sources to analyse and create a review of company performance and promotional successes.
• Present the relevant monthly promotional review report and any other analysis to relevant managers on a one-to-one basis or at meetings
• Ensure the full year promotional plan is kept up-to-date to reflect changes to the plan
• Write the merchandise briefs for promotional activity and ensure they are distributed on time
• Write media briefs for the media agency to help plan flyer externalisation
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the decision-making for promotional activity
• Support the Marketing Managers as required
To succeed in this role you will be a graduate (or equivalent) in a marketing or numerate discipline. You will also require some form of experience in a similar role where you have displayed proven experience of data analysis with strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data.
