Our client is a world-leading professional body with nearly 80,000 members, working in ground breaking areas from sustainable energy and aerospace.
Their Media Department is now seeking to recruit a proactive and experienced Media Relations Executive to primarily promote key projects and events. This individual will be the first point of contact for all media enquiries on these events; researching, writing, distributing press releases and establishing key contacts to help raise the profile of the organisation
The postholder will be a team player working closely with colleagues and members alike to support a full programme of media activity.
They are looking for a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate experience gained in a press office, PR agency or journalism environment. With a proven ability to sell in to journalists or feature writers, you will also have the ability to build good and effective working relationships with key contacts. Excellent grammar, literacy and good IT skills are essential.
