FOR NEW, FAST-GROWING EXTREME AND PARTICIPATION SPORTS WEBSITE
This exciting opportunity is with an online advertising network connecting online publishers to advertisers in the extreme and participation sports sector.
It operates on an advanced technological platform which can serve ads to its publisher network within hours. They have built up a network of 230 websites that continues to grow as they source key sites. Our sports include sailing, golf, skiing, skating, running etc…
The company is using its segment-specific knowledge amongst online publishers and products to target the high-value demographic consumers of online content to sell advertising to brands seeking to reach out to this segment.
This is an entrepreneurial start-up backed by and supported with corporate management support by a venture investor in the media and technology sector.
With a sales office next to Oxford Street, the person will report to the young and fun MD who will coordinate all aspects of the business including technology.
They require an Online Sales Person with at least two years online advertising sales experience. You must be interested in sports, have knowledge of golf, cycling or running etc. You will also have knowledge of the media agency business (ideally Starcom) / ad buying and the booking process.
The role will require this person to sell over the phone, arrange meetings with sports clients and media agencies. Travel to 3-6 trade shows annually. In return the company offer training on their technological platform and the opportunity to earn uncapped commission.
