My client, a digital and print contract and brand publisher, is seeking a Senior Account Director to be responsible for the retention, servicing and growth of an important group of clients, striving at all times to deliver top quality service and product. As a senior member of staff you will be expected to contribute positively and energetically to the business by getting involved in new business efforts and other company initiative.

This role has an on-line focus but will also involve working across a range of marketing communication channels and projects, with innovation being the key to success.

The main responsibilities will include:
·Developing a close working relationship with key client senior contacts becoming an advisor as well as account leader.
·Ensuring the organisation becomes an extension of the client's marketing team.
·Proactively identify opportunities for growth and development on both accounts.
·Create, own and manage a client development plan, using it to formulate the strategic direction of the account.
·Taking a leadership role within the client team
·Contribute, where relevant, run new business pitches / credentials presentations as necessary
·Full P&L and process responsibility on accounts

Requirement are:
·A proven track record of working with £500,000+ accounts.
·5 years' experience in a digital agency.
·Financially astute.
·Successful track record of building exceptional client relationships; necessary competence, presence and professionalism to inspire confidence and credibility with clients and colleagues; able to demonstrate successful account growth.
·Ability to manage several accounts at a time.
·Ability to write strategic documents, proposals, etc.
·Demonstration of winning pitches.
·Experienced negotiator.
·Understanding and experience of strategy, creative publishing, as well as broad understanding of the consumer experience.
·An overall awareness of marketing issues and developments in our sectors of interest.
·Knowledgeable in the planning, development and management of contract publishing and all its applications.
