Job Description

Our client is a successful, well-known and highly regarded global healthcare agency.

This is a new senior "Project Management" role and our client is keen that this person helps establish this role as a new central function within the greater agency (including integrated services), helping to build a team, systems and processes etc. 

Previous experience is absolutely essential and key to the success of this appointment.

  

The Role

  • Specialist in Project Management, experienced in coordinating multiple workstreams to deliver projects to scope, budget and time
  • Working alongside Client Leader and discipline experts, takes overall responsible for project coordination
  • Develops and owns key Project Management collateral, including scopes of work, work plans, trackers and schedules
  • Works with account teams/management teams to allocate and clarify roles and responsibilities as part of that work plan
  • Estimates a budget for the projects (with input from other disciplines) and tracks progress against estimates (in collaboration with Finance team)
  • Has a clear understanding of the project scope and uses change control to manage scope changes
  • Facilitates the smooth running of the projects by establishing clear processes and communication channels internally and with the client
  • Identifies project risks and plans risk mitigation
  • Sets up and runs meetings to ensure that the project keeps moving forward and is delivered on time
  • Co-ordinates and produces all appropriate documentation
  • Keep the teams informed of progress, costings, timings and any client issues
  • Acts as a catalyst for the project review and monitoring
  • Is a resource for the team to keep project on track, iron out issues, breakdowns in communication etc.


SKILLS:

  • Has experience of Microsoft Project and/or Sharepoint project management systems
  • Ideally has a Project Management professional certification
  • Experience in multi-tasking on a number of different projects and working with a number of different teams.
  • Previous healthcare experience would be a plus.
