Communications Manager Marketing & PR
New Milton, Hampshire
Circa £30,000 Plus Pension Scheme, 25 Days' Holiday, BUPA Healthcare
Our client is a leading provider of property related services throughout the UK. Their services range from residential property management, to installation and maintenance of communication and security systems. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Communications Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, in this role you will be responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of the Group's internal and external communications strategy. This is the ideal position for a creative individual who enjoys making a difference and has the ability to motivate and encourage others.
Applying your proven experience, as the Communications Manager you will share and provide good communications practice across the group, and your duties will include:
- managing the process of developing group staff communications (online and offline)
- overseeing group level PR activity
- researching, developing and producing internal communications
- supporting the development and delivery of web based and conventional publications
- managing the group's assigned PR agency
To succeed in this position you must have previous experience in a similar position and a detailed knowledge of both PR and internal communications. You will also need to demonstrate proven copywriting, presentation and project management skills, as well as knowledge of communications planning. Your high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are also essential, as is your flexible approach.
Knowledge of budget management, change management processes and working with 3rd party agencies would be beneficial to your application, as would an industry-related qualification - but these are by no means essential.
