Job Description

Marketing Director Publishing Sector to £45,000 + benefits Redhill Surrey

Fantastic opportunity to join this global publishing company. The Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing activity, to establish best practice marketing and data management disciplines through the introduction of a standardised marketing process across all individual business sectors.

In addition you will manage the marketing team, work with VP’s to produce detailed standardised marketing plans for each product within a portfolio, introduce best practice marketing disciplines, and establish and monitor high performance standards for all forms of marketing produced by the business to ensure that these communicate a clear promotional message for the individual brand or product.

The role requires managemetn of internal and external supplier relationships in the UK and abroad so excellent inter-personal and communication skills are key here.

You will also have knowledge of the exhibition and publishing market - normally there are around 25 exhibitions a year. You will have an understanding of data protection issues, experience of developing a web strategy and experience of auditing existing procedures and introducing new procedures.
