Marketing & Design Coordinator

£22,000-£26,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver the annual marketing strategy covering a range of marketing tactics on behalf of ExDRA and sportessex.
You will take responsibility for coordinating all programme specific marketing materials and interventions including the development of logos and brands, promotional materials, adverts and media interventions, corporate documentation, web content and graphics, web pages and html marketing materials
You will be employed by the Essex Development & Regeneration Agency (ExDRA) and will be based in Chelmsford.
Overall Purpose
Work with the Marketing Development Manager in delivering the marketing strategy covering a range of marketing tactics for all ExDRA's programmes - for sportessex (the Essex, Southend and Thurrock County Sports Partnership) and for ExDRA's economic development portfolio, INVEST Essex, the Essex Innovation Network, Beyond 2010 and others.
Specialist Functional Areas:
Coordination of marketing strategy
Brand management
Graphic and multi-media design
Development and procurement of marketing materials
Website design, implementation and management
Media liaison
Principal Accountabilities:
The following principal accountabilities apply across the complete portfolio of ExDRA's work and are to be delivered across the following two areas:-
1. Work with the Marketing Development Manager to coordinate all marketing tactics across all programmes as defined in the corporate marketing strategy
2. Work with programmes to develop programme specific media plans
3. Work with programmes to develop and coordinate all programme specific marketing materials and interventions including the development of logos and brands, promotional materials, adverts and media interventions, corporate documentation, web content and graphics, web pages and html marketing materials
4. Design, create and deliver marketing media both offline and online to specification and within defined deadlines
5. Outsource media creation to third parties and manage the production process
6. Work with the Marketing Development Manager in developing and coordinating media relations across a variety of media channels
